A move to Juventus would have been nice - Draxler

Germany international Julian Draxler who moved from Schalke to Wolfsburg last season has admitted that it would have been nice if his move to Juventus last season did fall through.

The German almost joined Juventus last season after agreeing personal terms with the Italian giant but both clubs couldn't agree on a deal for the player before he joined Wolfsburg. Draxler said he's honoured to have been linked with Juventus and he appreciates how much Juventus wanted to have him but he's now happy at Wolfsburg.

Draxler said he wanted to play beside Paul Pogba, Paul Dybala and other stars at the club and win trophies with the Serie A giant but I'm happy I made the right decision to come here because the atmosphere is relaxed and calm and I'm happy here.
