Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta has rejected claims Real Madrid have made a bid for Arturo Vidal.
The
Chilean midfielder continues to be linked with a move away from the
Bianconeri, after helping them to the Serie A title and Champions League
final last season.
Vidal is fresh from winning the Copa America
with Chile, although it has been a tumultuous few weeks for him
personally, having crashed his car under the influence of alcohol during
the early stages of the tournament.
Media reports on Monday
suggested Real had made an official approach for the player, but Juve
supremo Marotta has rubbished the claims.
"Vidal? It's just rumours, Real Madrid have not come forward. We have a great relationship with them."Arsenal have also been linked with his services, although interest from north London seems to have quietened.
