England national coach Roy Hodgson said it was a tough decision to leave Leicester's midfielder Drinkwater out of England's squad for the European tournament because of the midfielder's form during the 2015/2016 season but he had to make a decision because he wanted more attacking option and he will like to see how Rashford will perform on a bigger stage.
Some quarters have also criticised him for calling injury plague players Jack Wilshere and Henderson for the tournament. Some said he's selection was on player popularity rather than their form of performance.
