I'm happy Gundogan got the move he wanted - Hummels and weigl

News broke earlier on Thursday that Manchester City completed their first major signing of the summer.


Gundogan completed his move to Manchester City on thursday in a four year deal worth 20 million pounds and his former Borussia Dortmund team mate Hummels who also made a switch to Bayern Munich has congratulated the German Player for getting the move he wanted.

He said we had known for a long time that Gundogan wanted to Move to Manchester City to play for newly appointed manager Pep Guardiola and he got it so I'm happy for him.

Gundogan was plagued with injury during he 2015/2016 season and Hummels has said he wish him speedy recovery because if you are injured, no matter where you are, you won't be able to play said Hummels.

Weigl also said he's happy for Gundogan and it's really a lose for Dortmund to lose a player of Gundogan's calibre. He will greatly be missed said Weigl.
