There was a rumor yesterday that Chelsea has made Liverpool striker Christian Benteke their plan B in case they lose out on bringing Romelu Lukaku back to the club this summer in order to reinforce their striking force.
Chelsea has now debunk the rumor saying they will not be moving for the out of favor striker which confirms what a source close to the player said about the rumor.
Benteke who is surplus to requirement at Liverpool will not be sold to a rival club said Liverpool.
Chelsea will be moving for Lukaku, Morata or Higuain but not the Belgian striker.
