Philipp Lahm was former Germany skipper and has talked about the excitement it brings to play in major competitions like this and with more teams, there will be more Fans and the party will become bigger and it also means more matches and every 23 players in each team must be active as they will all have to do their part for their country to qualify.
He also said there are surprises in football and that is what makes it interesting. He cited an example of his first competition which his Euro 2004 when Greece won and he said nobody believed Greece will win but they did.
The Germany international said he will be supporting his country during the tournament and he believes there's no reason why they won't win this competition.
