I told Gotze to outshine Messi - Low

Germany national coach Joachim Low said he told Mario Gotze to outshine Messi and show that he's a better player after the Germany player score the winning goal at the world cup.

Mario Gotze has struggled to be in form coupled with injury problems this season and this has kept him away from first team in Bayern Munich in 2015/2016 and some people believe this is partly as a result of what Joachim Low told him but they feel the comment has put immerse pressure on Gotze

Gotze has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich but the player has said he wants to remain at Bayern Munich and first for his position. Though some quarters believed it will be a good move for him and a fresh challenge. 
Low said he doesn't regret what he told him because he believes Gotze is better than messi and he will overcome the pressure he's feeling.
