Manchester United has been heavily linked with Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid and also Nicolas Otamendi as the latter was thought to be an option if Ramos decides to stay in Spain but Van Gaal has stated that he wants to invest in his defense this season and as such will like to bring the two outstanding defenders to Old Trafford.
