Arda Turan said he was so excited at the prospect of playing alongside Barcelona Idols that he couldn't sleep until he completed his move to Camp Nou. Arda, 28, became the Spanish champions' second summer signing on Monday when he joined from Atletico Madrid on an initial transfer fee of €34 million.
The Turkish midfielder was reportedly the target of top Premier League clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United, but Barcelona was always his preferred destination
