Given completes Stoke move

Stoke city has completed the signing of Shay Given making him the second official signing of today after signing Van Ginkel. The republic of Ireland international signed a two year contract with the potters.
Given's move to the club means it is the second time he has worked with Mark Hughes, having played under the former Manchester United striker at Manchester City, and the 51-year-old has expressed his delight at securing the stopper.
